The products produced in the Safranbolu Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Garden, which is the largest medicinal and aromatic plant cultivation area in Turkey, have been made ready for sale.
In order to provide a solution for the local production of vegetable oils, which are largely imported and used in Turkey's cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, cosmetic products produced under the name of "Breath to the Future Forest Flowers" under the instructions of the General Director of Forestry Bekir Karacabey were given a commercial identity and made ready for sale. Zonguldak Regional Director of Forestry Faruk Bayraktaroğlu visited Karabük Governor Mustafa Yavuz and presented the products that were made ready for sale.
Regional Manager Bayraktaroğlu stated that the “Breath to the Future Forest Flowers” brand, which was applied to the Turkish Trademark and Patent Office on behalf of the General Directorate of Forestry on November 3, 2023, was approved on February 14, 2024 and will take its place in both the domestic and global markets.
Bayraktaroğlu said, "We have made available for sale natural products containing lavender, saffron, thyme, sage, rosemary and many essential oils from medicinal and aromatic plants grown in our Medicinal and Aromatic Plant Garden and in our region, by acquiring a commercial identity under the brand 'Breath to the Future Forest Flowers'."
Karabük Governor Mustafa Yavuz thanked the General Directorate of Forestry, Zonguldak Regional Directorate of Forestry and Safranbolu Forest Management teams and said, “Adding the healing and scent of nature to the unique texture of history is a great contribution to both our country and nature with a sustainable production approach. We add new values to the economy of Safranbolu and Karabük with such projects.”
